Japan: New Kids Air Lab Exhibition at Panasonic Center Tokyo on the Importance of Air and Nature

The Heating & Ventilation A/C Company of Panasonic Corporation (PC) opened an exhibition on April 26 at the Panasonic GREEN IMPACT PARK in the Panasonic Center Tokyo. Visitors to the exhibition can experience the Kids Air Lab school visits for elementary school students to think about the importance of air and nature. The exhibition provides a chance to grasp the importance of the air we take for granted and to think about taking action for the sake of the future to avoid polluting the air.

Under its brand slogan "Vitalize the Future with Air" the Heating & Ventilation A/C Company is undertaking many efforts such as collaborations relating to air with local governments. As part of this, it has since July 2023 held the Kids Air Lab school visits for elementary school students to think about the importance of air and nature. So far, these classes have reached
about 380 children in eight schools.

The new exhibition at the Panasonic Center Tokyo consists of a story to learn the importance of air. Firstly, the children's interest is encouraged through watching the Kids Air Lab introductory video.

Next, their curiosity is piqued and understanding enhanced through quizzes on the importance of air.

Lastly, they think about specific ways to keep the air clean, incorporating ideas from children in school visits so far. They write their ideas on a card to take home with them and think about later.

Getting the children to realize the importance of air through learning and thinking about it themselves helps to raise their awareness of the environment.

The Heating & Ventilation A/C Company will continue through various initiatives to communicate to future generations the value of clean air and nature and the need to protect them.
