Ukraine：Panasonic Ukraine and JICA organized a seminar with Ukrainian Kids
Panasonic Ukraine (PUA), in cooperation with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), which is actively implementing reconstruction assistance activities in Ukraine, held a seminar on 10 February at the Ukrainian School of Warsaw for Ukrainian children who have found refuge in Poland.
On the day of the seminar, 27 junior class pupils (ages 10-14) and 12 senior class pupils (ages 15-18) participated in the event to learn about the activities of Japanese companies in Ukraine, including the Panasonic Group.
The image of Japan is very positive in Ukraine, and with the recent manga and anime boom, the participants, who had never used Panasonic products before, were able to learn about Panasonic's corporate philosophy, history, and products through the mirror of Japan.
During the seminar, quizzes and games about Panasonic enlivened the event. As we reached the senior class, the questions became more sophisticated, asking such things as,
- How do you plan to use AI?
- How do you develop products for young people?
These are things that we are confronted with on a daily basis, and which have provided us with valuable information.
We hope that this activity will have strengthened their vision of Japan and its culture and that they will draw great inspiration from it in the future.
