
"3rd Anniversary of Agreement with Kadoma City and Installation of over 100 Donation Boxes" Commemorative Event on "AKARI" Action Project Held
Panasonic Holdings (Headquarters: Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture) and Kadoma City signed a business cooperation agreement in February 2022 regarding the "Solar Lantern Donation Activity to off-grid areas."
They have been promoting donation activities for the LIGHT UP THE FUTURE "AKARI Action Project" at public facilities, companies, supermarkets, and schools in the city.
On February 28, a report meeting was held at the civic cultural center, to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the agreement and the installation of over 100 donation boxes in the city.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mayor Miyamoto expressed gratitude to the citizens who cooperated in the installation of the boxes and donations.

Following this, Kaminoguchi Elementary School and Oki Elementary School, which participated in this activity as part of their educational activities, introduced their initiatives at school and the educational significance gained through the activity.
It was reported that the activity has been established and expanded as a regional activity in Kadoma City in various forms.
Going forward, the Panasonic Group will continue to strengthen cooperation with the local community through various activities, including corporate citizenship activities.
