China: Group Companies Donate Winter Clothing to Yushu, Qinghai
Group companies of the CNA region that cooperated on a volunteer basis
Yushu is a City in Qinghai Province on the Tibetan Plateau. It is extremely cold in winter with strong winds and blizzards due to its great height. Panasonic Operational Excellence China and Northeast Asia (CNA) Company called on group companies in the CNA region in November and December 2024 to donate winter clothing to Yushu to help its people get through the harsh winter.
The group companies rallied to this call to collect a large amount of clothes essential for winter from employees and their families, such as down jackets, coats, thermal underclothes, and hats. Each piece was carefully checked to ensure they were clean and free of dirt or breakage, then given as virtually new items to those in need of them. Twenty-two CNA region group companies collected over 7,400 items of clothing by the end of December, which they delivered together with books, stationery, and toys.
Many companies and volunteer employees took part in this donation campaign, strengthening the sense of unity and solidarity of the group.
