Japan: Panasonic Community Concert 2024 Held in Fukuoka

The Panasonic Community Concert 2024 Fukuoka Performance by the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra was held on September 17 at ACROS Fukuoka Symphony Hall. It featured marvelous performances by the 85-person full orchestra and popular pianist Ryoma Takagi.
This year's concert is the 22nd so far. The show is held as part of community contribution activities by the Kyushu Panasonic Family Association and Corporate Citizenship Office of Panasonic Holdings Corporation. Part of the proceeds will be donated as aid contributions to the UN-Habitat Fukuoka Office and the Asian-Pacific Children's Convention in Fukuoka (APCC). This year's performance was also held jointly with ACROS Fukuoka to mark its 30th anniversary.
This year's concert had its largest audience yet of 1,562 people, including members of Panasonic and local companies, Fukuoka Prefecture and Fukuoka City staff, ordinary citizens, international students, and high school students learning wind instruments. Audience reception and guidance was provided by 68 volunteers primarily from the Kyushu Panasonic Family Association. The concert was highly successful, eliciting comments on the wonderful performance and impressive show from those attending.
