The Panasonic Group donated approximately $11,500 in Cafeteria Points collected from employees in FY2023 to the NPO Peace Winds Japan (PWJ), which engages in humanitarian aid and disaster relief internationally. On September 19, Ms. Kyoko Arai of PWJ visited Panasonic to express thanks on the behalf of the NPO and present a letter of appreciation to General Manager Akiyo Domoto, Corporate Citizenship Office, Panasonic Holdings Corporation.

The Panasonic Group started Cafeteria Point donations for humanitarian aid to Ukraine from April 2022. This is its third donation to PWJ. It also started relief to earthquake-stricken areas in Turkey and Syria from April 2023, making two donations to PWJ this year.

FY2023 Cafeteria Point donations from July 2023 to the end of June 2024 collected approximately $8,500 for humanitarian aid to Ukraine and $3,000 for disaster relief in Turkey and Syria.

The donated funds will support children's daily lives and learning in war-torn Ukraine by fixing school lockers and purchasing washing machines and dryers for use in dormitories. In earthquake-stricken areas of Turkey and Syria the funds will be used for rebuilding schools and community recovery.
