The Panasonic Kids Festival, a summer vacation event for children, was held for three days from Friday, August 2, to Sunday, August 4 at the Panasonic Group's corporate showroom in the Panasonic Center Tokyo.

It aimed to enhance the children's creativity and power to shape the future by encouraging their desire to learn with 26 types of programs for children as part of the businesses and corporate citizenship activities the Panasonic Group's 15 sectors are engaged in.

Approximately 6,000 children joined small and large workshops to listen to manufacturing professionals, meet their first experiences, and take notes about their insights. The venue was full of excitement and enthusiasm from start to finish.

Event Report from the Panasonic Center Tokyo

Comments from parents of participating children

  • It was an enjoyable event that encouraged the children's interest and curiosity through everyday topics and gave serious attention to the will to learn.
  • I realized that Panasonic is more than just a manufacturer of home appliances, it's a company that thinks about the process of how its products are made and how they are used and considers issues concerning the global environment.
  • My impression of Panasonic went up when I saw how committed they are to reducing CO2.
  • Places to learn and have experiences like this are very valuable. After what he learned at the Panasonic Center Tokyo, my son says he wants to become a researcher when he grows up. (On having learned that the center is due to close) I hope that you make another facility for in-person learning for our children who will bear the burdens of the future.
