Thai Youth Get Once-in-a-Lifetime Chance to Learn Football from National Team Players with Panasonic

Panasonic Group in Thailand teamed up with Chonburi F.C. in organizing 'Panasonic Kicks School,' fulfilling dreams for children from the Panasonic family to learn professional football skills. The activity aimed to inspire children to stay healthy through sports. Supervised by 'Coach Heng' Withaya Laohakul, Technical Director & Head Coach of Chonburi F.C., the workshop offered over 100 young football enthusiasts a chance to train with national team players from The Sharks, plus a coach and former players from Gamba Osaka with the Japanese national team experience.

Mr. Hidekazu Ito, CEO of Panasonic Group in Thailand, said, "Since becoming an official sponsor of the Chonburi F.C. team last year, the Panasonic Group in Thailand has taken pride in supporting and elevating Thai football's potential on the international stage. Thus, Panasonic has continued to nurture the relationship between family members by collaborating with the Chonburi F.C. to organize 'Panasonic Kicks School,' offering opportunities for over 100 children aged 8-14 from Panasonic families interested in football to participate in workshops and develop essential football skills. This activity aims to promote sports inspiration and good health, with 'Coach Heng' Withaya Laohakul, the Technical Director & Head Coach of Chonburi F.C., playing a key role in designing the training program. A coach from Gamba Osaka, former Japanese national players, and football stars from the Chonburi F.C. also participated in the training, sharing their expertise in professional football techniques.

This activity is part of Panasonic's ongoing commitment to the well-being of the Panasonic family. Besides health benefits, it fosters quality family time, which is fundamental to sustainable social development. The activity is also linked to the 'Panasonic Cares' project, under the concept 'For the Well-being of People, Society, and the Planet.' This CSR effort reflects Panasonic's commitment to conducting business that prioritizes sustainable health, safety, and comfort for individuals, society, and all life on Earth."

 Mr. Withaya Laohakul (Coach Heng), the Technical Director & Head Coach of Chonburi F.C., said, "Chonburi F.C. is delighted to welcome children from the Panasonic family, considering them as part of the same family as Chonburi F.C. Our focus in this activity is on providing training in both football theory and practice, encompassing various techniques to ensure proper play. The goal is to nurture their potential, guiding them toward the path of becoming professional football players in the future. Chonburi F.C. has crafted the training program that begins with foundational skills like ball control, progressing seamlessly to real competition on the field."

 This workshop provided insights into playing football correctly and shared tips for developing a professional style. A coach from Gamba Osaka, along with former J-League players and Thai national players from Chonburi F.C, such as Channarong Phromsrikaew (Nueng), Songchai Thongcham (Ta), Kasidit Kalasin (Pup), Bukhari Lemdee (Book) and Yosakorn Burapa (Mix) have actively participated in the training.
