On the same day, in collaboration with a Social Good Meetup organized by the PEX Corporate Citizenship Department, Katsuya Suzuki, representative director of the NPO Research Institute for SATOMON, gave a lecture titled "Creating the Future of Mountain Villages and Woodlands - New Ways of Engaging with Mountain Villages Through Coexistence with Wild Animals."

On Saturday, November 18, the members gathered at Unitopia Sasayama (Hyogo Prefecture) to see wild Japanese macaques appearing at the nearby wildlife management area and exchange opinions. From the afternoon they traveled to a woodland revitalization area, taking part in delimbing trees for thinnings. Participants who saw the Japanese macaques appearing in areas of human habitation commented "I was amazed to see them coming so close to find food with no fear of humans" and "Damage caused by wild animals is an urgent issue, we have to think of what we can do about this."
