Panasonic Vietnam held an online film contest to expand the KWN program not only around Hanoi - the capital city but also nationwide.

The KWN program aims to foster creativity and teamwork by not only asking children to submit their own video works, but also by holding workshops in advance on how to tell story through movies, how to use equipment and how to shoot. By conducting this workshop online, children from all over the country can now participate.

Since KWN program which students create works based on the theme of SDGS, we can provide an opportunity for more children to learn about SDGS.

85 people participated in the online workshops held on November 11th and 18th, and 175 children watched the video.

Finally, 12 video works were delivered from 6 provinces.
Public Group on Facebook with 305 active members to join and vote for the movies.
Awards were given out in each category with judgements from famous Directors in Vietnam, as well as based on votes.

1st prize for younger group (10-13 years old) is a stop-motion movie about the life of a typical women in Vietnam and how she suffers from gender inequality.

1st prize for older group (14-18 years old) is a movie about illegal fishing of small fish that harms the environment, and how they want to save the resources of the sea and used the resources sustainably.

It was well received by children and parents, and we heard many comments of joy.
