The Panasonic North America Legal and Compliance Department annually hosts local high school students for a "Week on the Job" in partnership with the non-profit New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Project (NJ LEEP). This year the Panasonic Week on the Job was held on July 17-20, 2023, hosting five local high school students.

Employees from the Legal and Compliance Department delivered sessions on cybersecurity best practices, key points on product safety and design, intellectual property, avionics, ethics and compliance, smart mobility technology, and other corporate functions to help them evaluate their education and career options moving forward.
On the final day of the program was a negotiation workshop where the students received an opportunity to practice their conflict resolution and mediation skills based on a mock commercial dispute fact pattern.
Going forward PNA will promote activities helping to create opportunities that expand career selection for students.
