"AKARI" Action Project Cooperative Initiative with Mitsui Fudosan Group
The PEX Corporate Citizenship Department promotes the "AKARI" Action project to help employees and ordinary people to trigger social action such as donations in an informal way. Recently it stresses collaboration with government, other companies, and between departments to expand the circle of these activities. From July to the end of October, in a collaborative initiative with the PEX Business Solutions Division and Mitsui Fudosan Group, it has set up collection boxes for "AKARI" Action Project at eight more locations, including commercial facilities in Tokyo and at events for the SDGs. The boxes are placed at the entrance and near the escalators at LaLaport, a major commercial facility, to further expand the circle of donations. Another box is placed in front of the convenience store for users of the Panasonic Group's Tokyo Midtown Hibiya office.
Newly placed collection boxes
Also, at a co-creative private viewing of Panasonic Group products for Mitsui Fudosan Group stakeholders held on August 2 and 3, the collection boxes and related items like solar lanterns were exhibited to create opportunities for business matching involving not only products but also CSR activities.
We will continue to enhance collaboration with many partners to encourage participation in donations and similar activities, while also actively creating new business opportunities.
