China:Donation of 318 Panasonic Products Including Compact Medical Oxygen Generators to Quannan County, Jiangxi Province

In June the Panasonic Corporation of China (PCN) donated 68 compact medical oxygen generators, 50 electronic blood pressure gauges, and 200 wheelchairs all made by Panasonic to Quannan County, Jiangxi Province. This county has poor infrastructure due to its weak economic base, resulting in comparatively low levels of public services such as education and medicine. In light of this, PCN made this donation in response to a request from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce to improve the medical level of Quannan County and in particular to help raise the quality of life for those living in poverty or with disabilities.

PCN will continue to provide aid to improve the quality of life for people living in poverty or with disabilities, and to develop local regions.
