On May 17 the FY2023 online in-company briefing was held for the Panasonic NPO/NGO Support Pro Bono Program to support activities by NPOs and NGOs in Japan using the skills and experience of employees.
This program has provided support to 65 projects for 61 organizations with participation by 364 employees since its start in 2011. The briefing was attended by 84 employees, from which 23 finally put themselves forward as candidates.
The four NPOs that will receive support this fiscal year are primarily involved in aid services to children and youth. The employees will cooperate with team members to give support (activity management manuals and business evaluation) to the NPOs based on their needs over approximately half a year from July to December.
