Japan: Briefing session of the NPO/NGO Support Pro Bono Program
On February 7, a briefing session was held with an attendance of 89 employees to report the outcome during fiscal 2022 in the NPO/NGO Support Pro Bono Program. In the initiative, employees make teams and help NPOs and NGOs to augment their business development capabilities. In fiscal 2022, 34 employees provided support, mainly online, to five NPOs and NGOs regarding the preparation of materials to introduce the organizations and the development public relations tools over about six months.
In the briefing session, each team introduced the final documents presented to the organizations they had supported and gave honest comments about how they felt after participating in the program. Comments included "I gained experiences that I would have never had at work, and they have broadened my perspective.
Meeting so many people motivated me and was a positive experience. It would apply it on own job" The questionnaire survey after the briefing session showed about 97% of the participants were very satisfied or satisfied. We will continue our efforts to make more employees aware of this program.
