On December 3, 2022, volunteer employees of the Operations Division of Panasonic do Brasil Limitada(PANABRAS) held an awareness-raising activity for ESG (Environment, Society, Governance) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at a hotel in San Paulo. Due to COVID-19, such events were held online in each region in FY2020 to FY2021, so this was the first time in three years that they were held in-person. A total of 125 employees from seven cities of Brazil gathered at the venue on the day.
The morning session started with a speech by Sergei Epof, Vice President of Appliances at PANABRAS and General Manager Marcio Castro. This was followed by various team-building exercises such as a quiz-based hunt for treasure hidden in the mountains, soccer, basketball, and table soccer. The afternoon session was followed by a quiz on ESG and SDGs to raise awareness of social issues among employees.
At the end of the event was a ceremony in which an NPO the company works with in tree planting activities handed over a certificate showing the amount of greenhouse gases reduced.
