Global: Panasonic Scholarship Asia FY2026 Certification Ceremonies Begin Across Asia
Certification ceremony in Indonesia
The Panasonic Scholarship Asia certification ceremonies began with events in Indonesia and the Philippines, marking the full-scale launch of the FY2026 program.
This scholarship program supports students studying at local universities and vocational training schools. The program is currently implemented in nine countries and regions: Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. In addition to selecting scholarship recipients and holding certification ceremonies, local Panasonic companies lead a variety of support programs tailored to local needs, including internships and networking opportunities with alumni.
On July 30, a certification ceremony was held in the Philippines, where 15 students were newly recognized as scholarship recipients. The ceremony was attended by executives and related members from Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation (PMPC), as well as Ms. Doumoto, General Manager of the Corporate Citizenship Office at Panasonic Holdings Corporation, who offered messages of encouragement and expectations for the students who will help shape the future.
A student representative said, "This scholarship is more than financial support; it has given us the opportunity to pursue our dreams. In the future, we hope to contribute to society and help create opportunities for others."
Alumni also participated in the ceremony, sharing their career paths and achievements since graduating from university. Their experiences provided strong inspiration to the scholarship recipients and made the event an opportunity to reflect on the growth of individuals nurtured through the program and the meaningful connections built across generations.
Certification ceremonies will continue to be held in each country and region, with a total of 105 students expected to receive scholarships in FY2026.
