China:Supporting Education in Mountainous Areas Enhancing Learning Environments and Providing Digital Learning Experiences at a Junior High School in Chongqing
Panasonic Operational Excellence China & Northeast Asia (PEXCNA) and Panasonic Digital Shanghai (PDSH) provided support to a local junior high school in a mountainous area of Chongqing on April 28, with the aim of addressing disparities in access to education in China. PEXCNA donated air conditioners and washing machines and provided financial support, while PDSH donated 20 refurbished computers. These contributions have helped improve both the learning and living environments of teachers and students.
At the donation ceremony, Panasonic representatives shared the philosophy that "a company is a public entity of society," emphasizing Panasonic's commitment to contributing to local communities through technology and products. The school expressed its appreciation, noting that the support has not only improved the educational environment but also helped revitalize the school.

On the same day, employee volunteers also conducted experiential classes. Through four programs--Introduction to Industrial Robots, Mini Train Experience to Learn Electromagnetic Principles, Computer Fundamentals, and Presentation Skills Using PowerPoint--students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of manufacturing and digital technologies. Through hands-on activities such as operating robotic arms and assembling electromagnetic trains, students experienced the appeal of science and technology, enhanced their motivation to learn, and expanded their future possibilities.
