Vietnam: Donation of 500 Solar Lanterns to Communities in Quang Tri Province
In March, the Panasonic Group donated approximately 500 solar lanterns to two communities in central Vietnam's Quang Tri Province, where many low-income households live. In these communities, about 50% of households are classified as low-income or near-poverty households, and the region is frequently affected by typhoons and natural disasters. Through this donation, Panasonic aims to reduce families' financial burdens and improve nighttime study environments for children.

■ Local Donation Ceremony
On March 12, representatives visited the recipient communities and personally distributed solar lanterns to recipient households. Residents who received the solar lanterns shared the following feedback:"Without electricity, the greatest challenges are that children cannot study after sunset and families are unable to prepare dinner. The solar lanterns make a significant difference in our daily lives."
