On March 9, Panasonic Group in Thailand, as part of the CSR initiative "Panasonic Cares," partnered with the football club Chonburi FC to conduct mangrove forest restoration activities.

On the day of the event, Panasonic management, and employees, together with Chonburi FC players and football fans over 300 persons, participated in planting a total of 1,222 mangrove trees at the Mangrove Nature Study and Conservation Center in Chonburi Province.

The number of trees planted was determined through two main employee- and partner-driven activities. The first was the "Panasonic Hero Run GREEN IMPACT for Charity 2025" held in November, where one mangrove tree was planted for every 10 km run. Participants ran a total of 10,917 km, resulting in 1,092 trees.

The second initiative was the "Panasonic Let's Grow" PET bottle collection campaign. For every 20 kg of collected bottles, one tree was planted. Over 2,600 kg of PET bottles were collected, leading to approximately 130 trees being planted.

Mangroves play a vital role in disaster prevention, biodiversity, and CO₂ absorption. However, they are declining due to development and climate change. These initiatives contribute to achieving the SDGs and are sustainable environmental activities involving employees, in line with Panasonic's long-term environmental vision "Panasonic GREEN IMPACT."
