China: Panasonic China Donates Appliances to Elderly Care Facilities in Quannan County
Donation Ceremony Held in Quannan County, Jiangxi Province
On July 21, Panasonic China (PCN) participated in a donation activity held in Quannan County, Jiangxi Province, donating 50 electric shavers, 10 massage chairs, and 8 washer-dryers to two elderly care facilities in the county. These donations will help improve convenience in daily life and enhance the living environment for elderly residents. This marks the third time PCN has participated in this support program.
On the same day, PCN attended a roundtable hosted by the Chinese government on fulfilling the social responsibilities of foreign-invested companies and supporting Quannan County as a representative of foreign-invested enterprises. Participants discussed the impact of ongoing support efforts and future directions. More than 60 representatives from relevant organizations and companies attended the event, and Panasonic was presented with a donation certificate.
In addition, PCN's volunteer team revisited the elderly care facilities, spending time with the residents and delivering gifts and daily necessities.
