On July 18, Panasonic Sales Latin America (PLAT), in collaboration with the environmental organization Fundación Tierramente, planted 50 Guayacán seedlings at Albrook Park in Panama City as part of its corporate citizenship activities.

Guayacán is one of Panama's iconic tropical trees, known for its vibrant yellow flowers. It plays an important role in supporting the local ecosystem by attracting pollinating insects and birds. Through ongoing tree planting and follow-up maintenance activities, PLAT is helping conserve native species and biodiversity.

Employees from various departments, including accounting, sales, and marketing, participated in the activity together with their families. By planting the seedlings themselves, volunteers were able to experience firsthand how they can contribute to environmental conservation and gained a strong sense of accomplishment. PLAT also plans  a follow-up volunteer activity in October to help maintain the seedlings planted during this initiative.
