Brazil: Employee-Led Food Donation Initiative

At Panasonic Brazil's Extrema factory, employees organized a food donation drive from late May to early June to support Marmitas do Bem, a local food assistance organization based in Bragança Paulista, located near the factory.
Employees donated non-perishable food items, while the Occupational Safety team was responsible for receiving and sorting the donations. Approximately 200 kg of food was delivered to the organization, directly impacting more than 100 people through the preparation of meals and food baskets.
Participating employees described the initiative as "sensational" and expressed their appreciation, noting that they hoped such campaigns would continue and that they felt truly grateful to be part of such meaningful initiatives. The recipient organization also shared its gratitude, noting that the support contributed significantly to its efforts to provide food assistance to many people in need.
This initiative serves as a strong example of how individual employee actions can translate into meaningful contributions to local communities.
