Singapore: Ongoing Support Activities for Children's Welfare Facilities
Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore (PIDSG) continues to support local welfare facilities as part of its social contribution activities. This report highlights our initiatives from November and December of last year.
Enhancing Children's Comfort Through Appliance Donations
On November 19, 2025, PIDSG employee volunteers visited the Muhammadiyah Welfare Home, a children's care facility, and donated household appliances. Accredited by Singapore's Ministry of Social and Family Development, the facility is home to 38 boys aged 10 to 19.
PIDSG has been providing ongoing support to this facility. In response to its requests, we donated items including five stick vacuum cleaners, three standing fans, five air purifiers, one high-pressure washer, and one refrigerator to help improve the living environment for the children. During the visit, representatives from both organizations exchanged views, and the facility presented a certificate of appreciation for our ongoing support.
Sharing Love and Joy with Children Through Christmas Donations
On December 23, PIDSG visited a children's welfare facility operated by the charitable organization PERTAPIS, where we provided daily necessities, lunch, school bags, and water bottles to the children. The facility offers emotional care and educational support to children who have suffered abuse and currently houses 32 children aged 4 to 18.
PIDSG conducts Christmas donation activities for this facility every year, delivering messages of support and bringing encouragement to the children.
