Panasonic NPO/NGO Support Fund for SDGs - 2026 Grant Award Ceremony Held

On January 27, the 2026 Grant Award Ceremony for the "Panasonic NPO/NGO Support Fund for SDGs" was held at the Panasonic Tokyo Shiodome Building. Approximately 60 people attended, including representatives from the 16 recipient organizations and members of the selection committee.
At the ceremony, Ms. Ogawa, Executive Officer in charge of Corporate Citizenship Activities at Panasonic Holdings Corporation, delivered remarks as the host representative. She stated, "We hope that these grants will strengthen the organizational foundations of NPOs, NGOs, and other groups, enabling each organization to fully realize its potential and continue its activities in a stable manner, thereby advancing the resolution of social issues." Following her remarks, grant notification letters were presented to each organization's representative.

After the award ceremony, a forum on strengthening organizational foundations was held at the same venue under the theme "Considering Diverse Roles and Management Methods Within Organizations." The event was open to the public and drew about 100 participants, including NPOs, NGOs, grant-making foundations, and corporate social responsibility representatives.
The forum featured a keynote speech by Ms. Kiuchi, Deputy Representative Director of the Japan NPO Center (a certified NPO), case study presentations by past grant recipients, a panel discussion, and lively exchanges of opinions among participants.
