Panasonic Education Foundation Hold the Presentation Contest 2025

On Saturday, December 6, the Panasonic Education Foundation held the "Presentation Contest 2025" at the Iino Conference Center in Tokyo, awarding one Grand Prize, one Excellence Award, and three Encouragement Awards in both the elementary and junior high school divisions.
Launched in 2018, this contest provides a platform for students to showcase their ICT-based presentations, enabling them to express their ideas clearly and persuasively. This year marks the eighth edition. For the 2025 contest, 26 students from 14 elementary schools and 35 students from 22 junior high schools applied to participate.
On the day of the event, five finalists from each division delivered three-minute presentations using digital tools, addressing the theme: "What inspired a change in my thinking or actions?"--focusing on encounters, experiences, or passions. The final judging was conducted by a panel of selectors.

Feedback from teachers of the finalists, school officials, and judges highlighted the value of the contest, noting that it provides children with an excellent opportunity to organize and present their ideas. They also observed that efforts to communicate clearly were evident in both the presentation materials and speaking styles.
Many commented that listening to peers' presentations led to new insights and broadened perspectives, and that the time spent discussing each other's work deepened the overall learning experience.
