On November 1, the Panasonic Group in Thailand hosted a charity run event, "Panasonic Hero Run GREEN IMPACT For Charity 2025," at Siam Premium Outlets in Bangkok. More than 1,400 people participated, including employees and their families, as well as business partners.
This event is part of the "Panasonic Cares" initiative, which is now in its fifth year and represents the social contribution activities promoted by the Panasonic Group in Thailand. In line with our group's long-term environmental vision, "Panasonic GREEN IMPACT," the Panasonic Group in Thailand has implemented the "Run for Trees" concept since last year, in which every 10 kilometers run equals one tree planted.
This year, participants ran a total of 10,917 kilometers, resulting in the planting of 1,092 trees in the mangrove forests of Chonburi Province. Additionally, donations were collected from participants, totaling 174,184 baht (approximately 5,300 USD).
These funds will be used for the construction of the new Emergency and Accident Building and for enhancing medical equipment at Rajavithi Hospital.
This public hospital plays a vital role not only within Thailand but also during cross-border disaster situations, such as the Myanmar earthquake.
Strengthening its medical system will help improve the overall disaster response capabilities of the region.
