On October 18, the Panasonic Group in Taiwan organized the "ECO RELAY Beach Cleanup" at Xiaoliao Beach in Wanli District, New Taipei City. A total of 421 participants, including employees and their families from Panasonic Taiwan, Panasonic AVC Networks Taiwan, and Panasonic Industrial Devices Materials Taiwan, took part in the event to help protect Taiwan's beautiful coastline.
Beach cleanup activities have continued in Taiwan since 2010, making this the 16th year of the initiative.
In addition to collecting litter along the shore, this year's program introduced a new educational component focused on marine ecosystems. Through waste sorting and observation, participants learned about the sources and impacts of marine debris and gained practical insights into actions they can take to reduce pollution in the future.
Guided by our management philosophy that "a company is a public entity of society," the Panasonic Group in Taiwan strives to raise ESG awareness among employees through ECO RELAY activities. Looking ahead, Panasonic Group in Taiwan will continue to expand these efforts in collaboration with local communities and partners, working together to pass on a rich global environment to future generations.
