Singapore's Community Chest, in partnership with Marina Bay Sands, holds an annual charity walking event called "Heartstrings Walk."

This year, on September 6, over 3,000 participants gathered, including 265 employees and their families from Panasonic Group companies such as Panasonic Asia Pacific and Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore. Through a roughly 4-kilometer walk with family, friends, and people from diverse backgrounds, participants deepened their connections with society and fostered greater empathy and understanding of diversity.

Community Chest is a non-profit organization operated by the National Council of Social Service in Singapore.

It raises funds for social welfare by collecting donations from the community and delivering support to those in need.

The charity walk encourages donations through a walk that anyone--regardless of age or ability--can join.

100% of proceeds from participation fees are donated to Community Chest and support more than 200 social welfare programs for people with disabilities, children needing special assistance, individuals facing mental health challenges, low-income families, and seniors.

Participants shared that "Walking together with a common purpose strengthened our sense of unity as One Panasonic."

Going forward, Panasonic group companies in Singapore will continue working together to contribute even more to the local community.
