Asia: Panasonic Scholarship Asia - 2025 Program Launches Across Countries and Regions
The certification ceremonies for the Panasonic Scholarship Asia, a scholarship program supporting students at universities and vocational schools across Asia, were held in the Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Malaysia, marking the official start of the activities in 2025.
Established in 1998 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Panasonic Group, the program now operates in Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam as a locally-driven next-generation talent development initiative. Certification ceremonies in each country and region are led by local Panasonic companies and are attended by senior management, new scholarship recipients, university officials, and alumni (former scholars).
Philippines (Organized by Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines)
11 students studying engineering, design engineering, accounting, and business administration at state universities were selected. Due to severe flooding caused by repeated typhoons, some scholars were unable to attend the certification ceremony held on July 24.
A former scholar, now working in the accounting department at Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines, sent a video message stating, "Being chosen for this scholarship was a turning point in my life and has led me to my fulfilling current position."

Indonesia (Organized by Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia)
21 new scholars were certified from universities and technical institutes. The annual certification ceremony is held in conjunction with the Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia (PMI) Foundation Day, and this year's event took place on July 28. A welcome address was delivered by Mr. Sasage, President Director of PMI, followed by guest speeches from university representatives. Additionally, congratulatory video messages were shared by alumni.
