Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore Hosts Annual Blood Donation Drive with Red Cross
On Wednesday, 13th August 2025, Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore (PIDSG) once again demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by organizing its annual blood donation drive in collaboration with Red Cross Singapore. Held at the PIDSG Recreation Hall, the event welcomed employees and walk-in donors from across the organization and community.
This meaningful initiative saw 77 individuals participate, resulting in 53 bags of blood being donated. One bag of blood has the potential to save up to three lives, making this contribution especially impactful. The event ran smoothly from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM during working hours.
A total of 9 PIDSG employee volunteers supported the event alongside 8 Red Cross staff, including 2 doctors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Donors received light refreshments and a lunch coupon for the PIDSG canteen as a token of appreciation.
This recurring event not only supports vital medical needs but also fosters a spirit of unity and compassion within the workplace. PIDSG is proud to continue its support for such impactful causes and looks forward to many more years of giving back to the community.
