China: Electromagnetism Science Workshop "Enjoying Panasonic Trains"

On June 11, an electromagnetism science experimental class, "Enjoying Panasonic Trains," was held at Wensi Elementary School in Qiantang District, Hangzhou.
The instructors were employee volunteers from five Panasonic Group companies based in Hangzhou*.
During the class, they dressed up as "science teachers" and conducted a live experiment for the children, using Panasonic batteries as train engines.
The children were amazed to see how a regular battery could move through a copper coil using electromagnetic force, and they eagerly asked one question after another. Our volunteers answered each question patiently and encouraged the children to conduct the experiment themselves, helping them experience the fun of science first-hand.

After the experiment, a quiz was held so students could learn about the potential of electromagnetic energy, which produces no CO2 or harmful gases.
At the end of the class, the volunteers presented stationery sets to the children, encouraging them to apply what they learned in their daily lives.
