Singapore: United Group Effort in Community Contribution Activities
On May 20, fifty employees from our group participated in a volunteer activity at the Singapore-based nonprofit organization Willing Hearts. This organization provides meals and other forms of support to vulnerable members of society, serving as a social safety net that fosters human connection and a sense of security.
The volunteers gathered at Willing Hearts' kitchen center and engaged in various food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, opening canned goods, preparing the local dish "satay," and packing chocolates.
In addition, they assembled care packages to be distributed to members of the local community. Despite coming from different work locations and departments, participants collaborated closely, communicating actively and working together for the benefit of the community.
This experience offered a valuable opportunity to contribute to society in a way that differs from their usual professional roles.
