Launch of the "Unlock FR Program" to Empower Children's Imaginative Potential in Collaboration with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai
As part of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Panasonic Holdings (PHD) is presenting the Panasonic Group Pavilion "The Land of Nomo," themed Unlock your nature - Free your mind, body, self, and world. PHD launched the Unlock FR Program on April 13, in conjunction with the opening of Expo 2025.
The initiative aims to explore the possibilities of a richer and more hopeful future society together with children who engage with Panasonic through the Unlock experience at the pavilion, while fostering mutual growth.
What is the Unlock FR Program?
"FR" stands for Future Generations Relations and it means an initiative aimed at fostering communication with future generations and promoting well-being. The program offers two types of experiences:
1.Online Exploration Program: Meet the "Mutchū-jin"
This interactive online program introduces children to "Mutchū-jin" -- individuals from the Panasonic Group and beyond who are passionately engaged in technologies supporting the "The Land of Nomo" pavilion and in shaping future society. Children can explore various themes in a game-like format, without needing to install any special applications. The program is free to access.

Every Wednesday and Friday, PHD also host "Mutchū-jin Live," an online event where children can interact directly with the Mutchū-jin. Through conversations with AI assistants and content creators, children are encouraged to make new discoveries and deepen their curiosity through ongoing exploration.

On June 20, a Panasonic employee involved in developing kinari, a sustainable alternative to plastic, appeared live.
2. School-Based Interactive Workshops: Unlock PROGRAM & DAY
"Unlock PROGRAM & DAY" consists of two components designed to foster the growth of children who will shape the society of the future: a school-based workshop series called PROGRAM, and an event-style experiential workshop called DAY.
In the PROGRAM sessions, children engage in dialogue and present their ideas, allowing them to deepen their curiosity and unlock their potential through a curriculum that encourages small but meaningful successes.
In the DAY sessions, workshops and hands-on experiences help build meaningful connections between children and the Panasonic Group, leaving a lasting impression of the Panasonic Group's Expo initiatives. Information about participation is shared via the official "The Land of Nomo" website and LINE account.

- Unlock DAY Event: On May 31, at the Gamba Osaka vs. Kashima Antlers match venue, children participated in creative workshops and VR experiences related to the virtual "The Land of Nomo"
Through the Expo and the Unlock FR Program, the Panasonic Group will continue empowering children to unlock their creative potential, with the aim of realizing an ideal society offering material and spiritual affluence.
