India: PLSIND Wins the CSR & Sustainability Award 2025 Hosted by AIBCF
On January 16, 2025, Panasonic Life Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (PLSIND) won the CSR & Sustainability Award 2025 hosted by the All India Business & Community Foundation (AIBCF). This marks PLSIND's second consecutive win since 2024.
The award recognizes outstanding corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability initiatives, with a focus on community contributions and environmental protection activities.
PLSIND was recognized for its diverse CSR initiatives in education in India. These included providing equal educational opportunities for youth, creating employment opportunities, and various efforts involved with education.
Typical examples were providing scholarships to students in need in Thane and other regions, support for students with hearing disabilities, and educational support to children living in slums.
PLSIND has also been active in raising the vocational skills of youth and supporting long-term employment through the Panasonic Scholarship Asia program supporting engineering students nationwide and the Anchor Skill School project started in 2018 in Haridwar.
These broad-ranging initiatives of PLSIND bring out the potential of young people and help create an inclusive society, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
