PIDPH HR Director Mary Ann Seriosa, who has led this program since 2004, commented as follows: "This award is indeed a realization of our founder, Konosuke Matsushita's principle of developing the workforce. It created an impression that PIDPH's existence in the Philippines marked significance in changing the lives of many young Filipino students. Although this is a stand-alone project, its impact for the next generation is truly significant."

PIDPH will continue to seek to realize the Panasonic Group's management philosophy of "Contribution to society", creating a long-lasting legacy in the hearts of the Filipino people.

This award is given annually to the most outstanding business partners who have assisted TESDA in developing, enhancing, and implementing training programs that have resulted in employability of skilled workers. PIDPH received this award in recognition of its efforts in pioneering educational support programs, primarily through its human resources department. The program provides opportunities to students to gain experience in the industry and to hone their skills so that they can become a highly-skilled and competitive future workforce. Its high level of contribution to the technical and vocational education of youth in the Philippines is acknowledged by this award, highlighting the significant impact it has on the next generation workforce.
