China:Group Companies Actively Engage in Environmental Conservation Activities
Seeking to lift the environmental awareness of each of its employees and foster a CSR mindset as part of World Action 2024, which runs from June 5 to August 30, PEX CNA called on Panasonic Group companies in China proactively involved in environmental conservation activities to undertake a variety of actions. These actions show to society the importance of decarbonization and biodiversity conservation.
Panasonic Automotive Systems Dalian Co., Ltd.
Held a beach clean-up and hiking race on June 5 with 26 employees taking part to gather 126 kilograms of garbage.
China Hualu Panasonic AVC Networks Co., Ltd.
Held clean-up activities on June 5 and June 26 with 65 employees taking part.
Panasonic Welding Systems (Tangshan) Co., Ltd.
Held a tree planting event on June 15 with 45 employees and family members joining to plant 180 pine seedlings.
Panasonic AP Vacuum Insulation Devices (Chongqing) Co., Ltd.
Held a clean-up activity on June 22 with 30 employees taking part.
Panasonic Factory Solutions Suzhou Co., Ltd.
Held a clean-up activity for the area surrounding the company on June 24 with 20 employees taking part to gather 5 kilograms of garbage.
Panasonic Energy (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.
Held a cycling and hiking environmental conservation activity on June 29 with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions. Around 40 employees took part.*
This activity was selected for the Annual Excellent CFP Promotion Activities organized by the Suzhou Corporate Culture Promotion Association as an effort that lifted awareness among ordinary people about carbon footprints.
