Japan: NPO/NGO Support Fund Result Report Meeting Held
Panasonic Group held the result report meeting for the FY2023 recipients of the Panasonic NPO/NGO Support Fund for SDGs in two parts at the Panasonic Center Tokyo.
The fund consists of a domestic and overseas subsidy category. To allow NPOs and NGOs aiming to end poverty to work on social transformation for sustainable development, it offers aid to them through rganizational diagnosis to pinpoint issues in their organizations and efforts to enhance their infrastructure for improved organizational management.
On February 21 seven recipients of overseas subsidies and on February 27 eight out of nine recipients of domestic subsidies gathered together with the selection committee members, secretariat, and others for a total of approximately 30 people. At the result report meeting each organization reported on its year's work and shared its troubles and difficulties, with highly active Q&A sessions. The networking after the meeting allowed the participants to exchange opinions and deepen their learning.
