Singapore: Donation of Necessities to Families in Need and Child Care Facilities

Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore Pte. Ltd. (PIDSG) is engaged in various activities throughout the year to give aid to people in need.

(1)  On July 8 Irene Chua, Director in charge of Human Resources of PIDSG, and three other employees took part in a volunteer activity of the Lions Club, one of the very few such organizations with permission from Singapore's Ministry of Health. They personally handed out around 100 meals consisting of lunch boxes, bread, and so forth to families in need in Telok Blangah.

(2)  On August 7 five employees visited the Pertapis Children's Home at its request, to donate 12 locker sets for the children to use.

PIDSG will continue to listen to the needs of such organizations and provide them with the support they need.
