China: Panasonic Receives Highest Award of Five Stars for Corporate Responsibility at the Ninth China Electronic Information Industry Social Responsibility Annual Conference
The Panasonic Group in China received five stars, the highest level, for the third consecutive year for CSR assessment conducted for the China Electronic Information Industry Social Responsibility Annual Conference.
The awards ceremony held on February 11 in Beijing was attended by members of Panasonic Group companies in China, who received a certificate for five stars.
The China Electronic Information Industry Social Responsibility Annual Conference ranks 243 electronics companies active in China to encourage sustainable development of the industry and technological innovation.
The ranking consists of the following ten themes. Companies that gain scores of 90 or more out of 100 receive five stars. The Panasonic Group in China will continue to promote higher corporate value through various efforts for CSR assessments.
