Environmental Initiatives
In 2017, Panasonic formulated the Panasonic Environment Vision 2050 as a long-term environment vision for environmentally sustainable management. To achieve "a better life" and "a sustainable global environment," Panasonic is working towards creation and more efficient utilization of energy which exceeds the amount of energy used, aiming for a society with clean energy and a more comfortable lifestyle.
Panasonic Ecology Systems Group formulated its 'Environmental Sustainability Vision' in 2019, which lays out the direction of our environmental activity to creating a sustainable society.

Green ProductsTowards the creation of a sustainable society, we are making efforts to develop energy- and resource-efficient Green Products that demonstrate the industry's top-level environmental performance.

Green FactoriesIn order to further improve the activities to reduce environmental burden by product manufacturing, the Panasonic Group started a program in FY2010 to certify factories that meet specified criteria as Green Factories (GF). Panasonic Ecology Systems' headquarters factory has achieved certification as a Green Factory.
