KDK Brand and AC electric fan "Typhoon"

Kawakita Denki Kigyosha, the predecessor company of Panasonic Ecology Systems, was established in 1909. Our original brand name, KDK, was the acronym for Kawakita Denki Kigyosha.

 In 1913, we succeeded in mass-producing the first AC electric fan" Typhoon" in Japan, followed by ceiling fans and ventilatiing fans.

 Our central focus on these three product types remains: we are selling them in over 30 countries in the Middle East, South Central America, Southeast Asia, etc. Based on our expertise in the air and water businesses, we quickly respond to customer needs in collaboration with agents who are KDK family members in individual countries.
