USA: Month of Service 2026 Highlights

Many Panasonic Group companies in North America offer employees 35 hours of paid volunteer time off annually, encouraging them to participate in social contribution activities.

Each September, the Month of Service initiative provides employees with opportunities to participate in a wide range of volunteer activities.

Now in its eighth year, Month of Service 2026 brought together 11 business divisions and a range of community and nonprofit partners to organize more than 15 volunteer activities focused on education, environmental conservation, and humanitarian aid. More than 400 employees from across the businesses participated, addressing the specific needs of their local communities.

In Kansas and Nevada, for example, employees partnered with the international humanitarian organization Heart to Heart International to assemble more than 1,200 hygiene kits. These kits will support communities around the world, including those recovering from natural disasters and those affected by conflict. Employees also took part in Kansas City Wild Lands, a nature conservation program run by a local environmental organization, sorting and organizing seeds for replanting native species.

The Month of Service enables employees to contribute their time and skills to addressing social issues while strengthening connections with the communities where they live and work.

The Panasonic Group continues to encourage employee participation in community initiatives, working alongside local communities to build a better future.
