FAQs about operation of Ethernet Switches including connection devices and cables which are connected to them.
Operation
- Is there any problem with equipment that does not support PoE being connected to PoE switches?
- Can the PoE switch at factory shipment status supply power to a connected PoE compliant device?
- Is there a setting whereby power is not supplied?
- Are there any restrictions on cables used when connecting PoE terminals (IP telephone, wireless AP, etc.)?
