The 2018 season finally kicked off as the Panasonic IMPULSE faced off against the Elecom Kobe FINIES.
The game took place on August 25th at Oji stadium in Hyogo, Japan.
This matchup would be the first test for the IMPULSE.

The game started with Elecom scoring first in the first quarter.
The IMPULSE would not score until the second quarter, with a 80 yard run from RB #33 Shun Yokota. This would leave the score tied at 7.
Elecom would again take the lead with a short pass in the red zone.
K #16 Shintaro Saeki would show his leg strength and accuracy with a 51 yard field goal to end the half.

The third quarter was uneventful as both teams would not score.
The fourth quarter would belong to the IMPULSE as they would be the only team to score.
K #16 Shintaro Saeki, would connect again with a 27 yard field goal.

The next game will be against Asahi Softdrink CHALLENGERS September 8, 2:00PM Kickoff at Expo Flash Field in Osaka, Japan.
