It was a cold game in consistent rain as two top teams, Obic SEAGULLS and Panasonic IMPULSE, faced off on Sunday October 15, 2017.
IMPULSE started off with the ball and even though they stalled out their first drive, they made up for it the next with a 38 yard touchdown run on the first play by QB. They missed the extra point and neither team scored again until an IMPULSE FG midway through the second quarter. IMPULSE also had a drive end on a fumble nearing SEAGULLS’s red zone but QB with time running out. SEAGULLS finally responded with a kickoff return touchdown out of halftime to make the score 9-6 as they missed their extra point as well.
SEAGULLS also made a switch to their American QB #12 Ikaika Woosley who led them to a touchdown drive his second drive in the game. Down 13-9, QB and the IMPULSE came back out into the rain and threw a 60 yard bomb to his top WR #15 Tatsuya Tonka to set the up for a touchdown pass in the back the end zone to WR #15 Tatsuya Tonka again.
IMPULSE defense played strong even through a special teams error. IMPULSE running combo between QB and RB ended the game and forced SEAGULLS to use all their timeouts pushing IMPULSE to 5-0 on the season.

Next Panasonic IMPULSE will take on Nojima Sagamihara RISE at Yokohama Stadium October 29, 2017 11:00AM Kickoff for the final game of the regular season.
