Thursday, August 31, 2017 Panasonic IMPULSE defeated Elecom Kobe FINIES 31-15 as the run game continued to dominate for IMPULSE.
Panasonic finished the game with 194 yards rushing on 30 attempts while passing for 154 yards.
The offense started off a perfect 3 for 3 with a passing TD and a gashing run from RB #33 Yokota for 82 yards.
QB and WR #15 Tonka were also able to connect on a 59 yards pass that led to a short touchdown for the offense.
QB also had a 12 yard rushing touchdown in the second half to secure their lead.
Impulse defense was strong as well holding FINIES to just 16 yards rushing on 27 attempts with 179 passing yards on 37 attempts.
Never the less the defense was consistent and made it difficult for FINIES to move the ball.
DB #1 Polley had a large 60 yards punt return late in the game to add more confidence to their team.
