10.16.2016 Panasonic IMPULSE vs Nojima Sagamihara RISE - Game Review

The Panasonic Impulse (4-1) came into this game against the Nojima Sagamihara Rise (1-4) hungry to avenge their 20-13 loss to the Fujitsu Frontiers last week.

Not to be judged by their record, Nojima would prove to be a formidable opponent in this game as Panasonic won 24-17 but had to play from behind basically the whole game.
Panasonic’s offense started off slow, only putting up 6 points in the first half while Nojima raced out to 17 first half points.
This game would prove to be a tale of two halves however, as Panasonic exploded for 18 second half points and completely shutout the Rise offense in the second half.
Panasonic’s defense forced 3 turnovers (all interceptions) to thwart any comeback attempt by the Nojima Rise.
Touchdowns were scored by QB #8 Tetsuo Takada (run), TE #2 Shohei Kishimoto (pass from Tetsuo Takada) and DB #1 Emory Polley (kick return).
Kicker #11 Eita Saeki also added a field goal for Panasonic.

Panasonic will look to close the regular season out 5-1 as they face the Lixil Deers on Sunday, October 30th at Yokohama Stadium.
