Panasonic selected again for Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes

Panasonic - the leading brand by which Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. is known - has once again been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI World), the major indexes for socially responsible investment (SRI). Panasonic has been a part of these indexes for the past three years.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes are stock indexes developed through a cooperation between Dow Jones Indexes, STOXX Limited in the U.S., and Sustainable Asset Management (SAM) in Switzerland, based on analysis of corporate economic, environmental and social performance. Panasonic is evaluated especially highly in the areas of environmental performance, risk management, and labor practices.
